Green Day 2026: Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration & Poster Contest

Sunday, April 26, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Activities: Nature crafts, planting tutorials, stories, a scavenger hunt, and free trees.
  • Poster Contest Announcement: Winners of the “Why we need trees” contest will be announced during the event.

Peaceful Painting 2026 – Art Making at the Bristol Friends Meetinghouse

Monday, June 29 to Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Eligibility: Children ages 6 to 11 years old.
  • Price: $40 per student (includes snacks and all supplies). The program is capped at 20 students.
  • Registration: Fill out the 2026 Peaceful Painting Camp Registration Form.
  • Payment: Checks should be made out to “Bristol Meeting” and sent to PO Box 1273, Bristol, PA 19007 by the end of May 2026
  • There is an Art Show & Face Painting Party on Thursday, July 2, from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM to showcase the children’s work.

Book Club: Rough Sleepers

Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM Join us for a discussion of Tracy Kidder’s bestselling nonfiction book, Rough Sleepers. It tells the inspiring true story of Dr. Jim O’Connell, a Harvard-trained physician who dedicated his career to bringing healing, empathy, and a “system of friends” to Boston’s unhoused community. We will have a couple of copies available at the Meetinghouse for those who need one!
