Join us at Bristol Friends Meeting for a journey through history with the “Harriet Tubman Performance,” featuring Dr. Daisy Century of the American Historic Theater. This one-woman show, scheduled for Sunday, February 25th at 1 p.m., brings to life the remarkable story of Harriet Tubman, a symbol of courage and freedom. Witness the portrayal of Tubman’s daring escapades and unwavering spirit as Century embodies the essence of this iconic figure. This event is not just a performance, but a tribute to Tubman’s legacy and the significant role of local Quakers in the Underground Railroad in Bucks County. Open to all ages and free for the community, this performance promises to be a powerful and inspiring experience. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. performance starts at 1pm.
